September 10, 2013 (Calgary, AB) — Daniel Romano announces a Canadian Tour this fall, backed by his band the Trilliums, to promote this year's Come Cry with Me. Romano is in the midst of prepping a new live EP that will be for sale on the trip. Details are forthcoming, but the mini-release is set to feature concert-captured versions of songs from Come Cry With Me and Sleep Beneath the Willow, as well as new songs. Daniel Romano is a songwriter who delivers mosey croonin' and hard luck storytelling.

The Sadies announce a new album, Internal Sounds, that will hit retailers September 17 via Outside Music, in additional to announcing a western Canadian tour. The band will bring their new tunes to Calgary on October 18 at Commonwealth Bar & Stage. The new album was produced by The Sadies’ singer-guitarist Dallas Good, who ensured the band took their time to explore their ‘Internal Sounds’. A full track listing is not yet available but the album is expected to hone The Sadies' blend of country and psychedelia and features a guest appearance from Buffy Sainte-Marie on the closing track.

Braids, the Canadian experimental pop group who released Native Speaker in 2011, have reinvented themselves in the making of their second full length. After 18 months of touring in support of their debut, along with the departure of a band member, the group secluded themselves in their Montreal studio for a year of writing and recording. While Native Speaker was written in an organic and live environment, the group sought to explore a more introspective and electronic approach to songwriting.
