H E L L O M O T H
(electro-choral pop / soulless soul / electronic singer-songwriter)

Hello Moth interweaves electronics with organics to make poetic electro-pop that is sometimes dark, sometimes uplifting, and always deeply affecting. His voice--forceful yet ethereal--merges with synthesizers to create otherworldly songs and powerful performances.

Hello Moth has developed a reputation as one of the Alberta’s most innovative performers thanks to his novel hybridization of electronic music and poetic song. Through his unorthodox style, he has achieved success locally and beyond: 2013’s debut album Infinitely Repeated was nominated for Best Electronic Record at the WCMAs, he provided direct support to St. Vincent at Sled Island 2014 , performed at TEDxYYC 2015 , was dubbed “the weirdest, most underrated, most original and unabashedly true-to-self performer on the Rifflandia lineup, hands down” by Exclaim! in 2016 , and was one of the few Canadian artists selected to showcase at the prestigious Great Escape Festival in the UK in 2017 . CBC called Hello Moth’s 2016 album, Slave in a Stone , “frenetic, weird and all kinds of exciting ... the kind of innovative music-making that keeps the future of Canadian music looking bright.” The video for A Song About Transience won Best Music Video in Alberta at the 2017 Rosie Awards . Hello Moth is also the producer behind the platinum pop hit, Jackpot , which he co-wrote with singer Jocelyn Alice.

E L I Z A B E T E B A L Č U S
(avant pop / neo-psychedelia / dream pop)

Elizabete Balčus is a Latvian musician and performance artist who creates neo-psychedelic dream pop from surprising, collaged, genre juxtapositions that is simultaneously melodic and experimental. Elizabete attended Latvian Academy of Music to study classical and jazz flute. Anything is permitted in her musical cosmos: looping flute and voice, clicking electro pop beats and playing fruits as a synthesizer. Her music leaves the listener in a blissed out trance state, somewhere between the waking and sleeping. Her live performances engage the audience with a psychedelic and theatrical situation that is as befuddling as it is mesmerizing.

Elizabete's album Conarium is released under the UK label Liminal Noise . She's been playing at festivals such The Great Escape , Reeperbahn , as well as numerous shows in Italy, Netherlands, UK, and the Baltic States.
